Due to the fact that i am up in the Santa Ynez Valley a lot i am trying to capture a little of each of the 4 seasons which unlike most of Southern Cali’s 2 seasons can actually be differentiated between in the Central Californian Climate.
These photos were taken at the entrance of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), located right by the La Brea Tar Pits in downtown Los Angeles. Although there are always multiple displays to check out, I recently went there for the Tim Burton exhibit. The collection was awesome and i got to see some other great artwork throughout the museum. I was sitting in the car and noticed the perfect alignment of the moon and the much closer street light, which although it was beginning to get dark, was off long enough for me to take this shot. Came out looking pretty cool and i am happy with the results i got from a quick phone Cam shot.
Every now and again a cruise liner takes over the little city of Santa Barbara. Almost doubling SB’s population upon arrival, the ship means not driving down Cabrillo Street and avoiding the first 6 blocks of state street for the day : P
